Lennar Homes will be developing a new residential neighborhood at the southeast corner of Diamond Bar Blvd and Brea Canyon Road. This location is also known as Site D. A condition of this development is that a 2-acre public park must be constructed and turned over to the City of Diamond Bar for operations and maintenance. To determine the elements to include in the developed park, Lennar Homes conducted two neighborhood meetings that were presented by RJM Design Group. The input received from the community at those two meetings has been incorporated into the attached Conditions for Approval. The Conditions of Approval will be included in the tentative tract map for this project that will be considered by the Planning Commission at their October 8 meeting. Before the park is constructed, a complete park design must be submitted by Lennar Homes for approval by the Community Development Director, the Community Services Director and be recommended for approval by the Parks & Recreation Commission. The final park design must contain the elements included in the Conditions for Approval.
Recommended Action - Review the Conditions for Approval and Recommend Approval to the Planning Commission
